Well, I've been procrastinating writing about myself...to be honest, I'm not really comfortable writing about myself. Most of you viewing this site already know me but maybe I can include a thing or two that you may not know or maybe you have forgotten... The basics: 30-something SWF! No, this isn't a personal ad...but, I am sort of in the market. Are you a great guy and available? :-) I was born in Macon, Georgia...grew up around Americus, GA...have lived in both Virginia and Indiana...and now am back to somewhere in Georgia. | I attended Southland Academy (class of '81) and graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 1985 with a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems. From there I attended Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, and earned a masters degree in Practical Theology in 1987. I was married on New Year's Eve, 1988, to Larry, the love of my life. We shared a wonderful marriage of almost 10 years and had two beautiful daughters...Courtney and Natalie. In April of 1998, Larry suffered a major stroke while we were on vacation and went to be with the Lord. Needless to say the girls and I were completely devastated. It was a rough road the first couple of years, but God's grace has somehow enabled us to go on with life and for that, we are thankful. Currently, I am a full-time single parent (in the full sense of the word) and operate my own business as a Consultant for Creative Memories (see "My Business" for details). In addition, I have recently returned to school to become certified in Web Design, an interest I have had for some time (I think I'm turning into a "professional" student!). I have also recently started my own business in web design -- Rivertown Web Works. Look for a much more "professional-looking" website appearing here soon! :-) The girls attend a local Christian school...Courtney (11) is in 6th grade and Natalie (8) is in 3rd grade this year. We attend church regularly and enjoy spending time with our family and friends. As far as interests and hobbies, those are included in the "My Interests" section of the website.
