This page is about a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Uncle Robert is all the above and then some. He had a true heart of GOLD & GRANETT. I guess that is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Uncle Robert. His true devotion to Florida State University. I guess that is the most common thing he and I had in one another. We both loved the team. He a little more than I. He had a beautiful wive and 3 lovely daughters. He was a good man all around. Everyone in the family thought so much of him. The last time I saw him was Oct. 96 when he and Aunt Jean came up for the family reunion. He was all FSU that day he had the shirt (which I tried to get from him) shoes, socks, belt and so forth. He had it all. He even brought is portable TV so he could watch the game *laughing* and he did watch it. See Uncle Robert is my great uncle. He married my grandfathers baby sister. And that was a smart choice on her part *laughing* They live in Tallahassee Florida. (Where would the number 1 fan live) But there are many more things about Uncle Robert than just he love for FSU. He touched so many lives in his life time and changed most of them. He was one of a kind. We just lost Uncle Robert a few days ago. He had a long illness but it didn't get him down and he never missed a game. If he did I am sure one of the kids taped it and he watched it when he got home *smile*. We all will surely miss Uncle Robert but he will live in us all until we see him again. And we all know that he is now the Head Coach for FSU on a higher ground *laughing* So this is for you Uncle Robert!!! We all love you |
