Interactive Sites

An interactive site involves an activity that allows the learner to make some choices and gives some type of automatic feedback. While a quiz or an exercise can be interactive, these have been included under online exercises.  This page gives some examples of more open-ended type interactions where there is not necessarily one correct answer.

Students usually enjoy these exercises due to the immediate customized feedback and often like to compare their results either in person or on a discussion board.

If relevant sites can be found, the education value can be very high.  However, even if the site content is not directly relevant to the lesson content, these sites can be used to improve generic skills such as language, communication or teamwork skills.

Examples:

An interesting personality quiz.

This site has a good interactive interview.

Another virtual interview.
