Emulation Story

In the beginning there was a computer and a video game. Two seperate entities withcrossing fates. Enough with the poetic crap, emulation is well known throughout the internet and everyone on it. In case you don't know what an emulator is, Ill give you a brief overlook. Emulation is a way to "backup" your console games, arcade machines, old computers, pong??, onto your computer. I bet your confused. Well the games you backup are called Roms. Some websites devote themselves to helping people backup their roms. Most of these sites are being shut down such as www.davesclassics.com. Now, under some patent copyright law that the Supreme court passed.. yada yada yada, its illegal to have a rom that you do not own, such as if I didnt own a copy of Mario Brothers, and then I got the rom of it from some website devoted to help backing up peoples video games on their computers, I could get fined a great deal of money.
Ok, enough of the simple bullsh*t, its time to let out the hard and dangerous truth to the companies across America, Japan, Europe, and all the other countries where they resort to eating the insects off of Elephant dung. Emulation is a way to enjoy the classics from your child hood. If you emulate something like Capcom's CPS-1 mother board, of course your not gonna own those REALLY REALLY freakin rare games such as Caddilacs and Dinosaurs or how about Captain Commando, theres a real Arcade sell out. I heard from some guy that there were 2, omg 2 kids playing that game within the last year. Also, Super Nintendo emulation, whoopifreakin doo, wipe my ass with f*ckin poison oak leaves. Most of the REALLY good games such as Chrono Trigger aren't really such good games as we remember them. It's nice to get to classics and everything but why go to classics when you can buy a freakin Dreamcast for god sakes.
And another thing. All those dumb f*ckers who are selling Dreamcast burned games and PSX games, just f*cking stop the nonsense. Sega is already havin enough trouble fighting Sony, why not give them a break and just burn yourself a copy, not this friend, and that guy, and that shmoe, and that crack whore, and that teen prostitute. You get my point. I am not gonna say where but I even know of a local store that you can buy freakin burned Dreamcast games for 15 bucks. 15 whole dollars for a 40 cent cd. This is all pocket change for those ass holes. Are they trying to get their asses pressed against a cold shower next to 8 horny jail mates? I don't blame Sega for spazin about the new Utopia thing, cause its dumb f*cks like this store that take so much advantage of it.
I do have one question for Sega though. If Dreamcast games are so hard to backup *I know cause I've backup up my sonic which I bought with my dreamcast thank you very much, cause my friends always scratch my CDs*, then why did Sony not like f*ckin fall over dead like the horse in Half Baked. Sony games are the EASIEST thing out there to copy. It's basically like, insert, click-click, wait, done. Return that rented game, have a fresh new copy in your collection. Is it just me or is Sony lighting their ciggarettes with money? Especially with the new PS2 comin out. Does soy think they're system is gonna be modded and pirated, YES! That's why they are trying to give people a reason not to pirate it. By making the games so good, it's best to buy them.
I know everyone is gonna have a different opinion from me, especially Sega and Dr. Dre, sorry Dre, I just stole the weed*cough*food*cough* from your*cough*kids*cough* mouth*cough*es*cough* right? If it's such a hard task for one person to pirate, why not just go after the big ships comin in from Hong Kong? And stop those stores sellin the games. But leave us people of the single person community have our classic feels and values of good old Pitfall. Can you just do that? btw.. if you think I am gonna go riot my point at some Rage against the Machine concert, you can come to, it's labeled Pearl Jam, yeah.. just go to where you see a lot of people and blood, k?
