     God has calling for us a a body is still the same today as it was 2000 years ago. He desires the church to be cleansed bot the washing of the water of the word, that He may present is to himself, glorious, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. (Ephesians 5: 26-27)
     In order for us as as believers to be cleansed, we must put our entire lives in His hands. Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it, and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." (Matther 16:24-25) All we have is ashes, and we don't even really have that. Everything we possess, has been given to us by God. He provides our job, so that we may earn money, our parents, so that we may be trained up in the way we should walk, even our bodies that we, as spirits inhabit (We are a spirit that has a body & a soul).
     God only requires from us this one thing, yet promises us more what the world can offer. So many times we follow after the enticements of the world, rather than the Creator. We as the Body & Bride of Christ, need to realize that unless we lay down our lives and establish a relationship with God (Relationship requires two way communication). Matthew 7:21-23 says that many (the Hebrew word here means most), believers expecting to enter into heaven will be turned down because they never established a relationship with the Eternal Father. "I never KNEW you."
     How sure are you that you are going to heaven. Just for a moment I would like to ask you to take a look in your heart. Look deep down inside. Do you really know him? Would you like to know him better? Would you like to get to know him? God Bless you!
