Students will usually receive spelling homework Monday - Thursday.  I try to
vary the spelling
assignments to
strengthen other
skills as well. For example, students may use each core word in a complete sentence or unscramble the words.
Reading
Students are required to read a minimum of 60 minutes every week. Students should write the number of minutes read in the appropriate box and also write the total number of minutes read at the end of the week.  Parents are asked to verify the time their child read by signing the box.  The Reading Calendar is due every Monday.
