Dmitri Hvorostovsky's recital will unite the admirers of Russian art song

Prague (Russian Czechia) - The main musical event of upcoming several months is undoubtedly "Prague Spring" festival which is to open on 12 May with My Homeland by B.Smetana. Unlike previous years the programme of this year's festival is full of the names of Russian artists. On 23 May at Rudolfinum St.Peterburgh SoloistsOrchestra under the baton of one of the finest violinists of the world Mikhail Gwantarg will present its programme. A week later another famous Russian violinist Dmitri Sitkovetsky will perform at the same venue.On 2 June Alexandre Gorin will play organ at St.Jacob Cathedral. The climax of the festival will be the recital of Dmitri Hvorostovsky. On 26 of May the most famous Russian baritone will sing Rachmanonoff and Tchaikovsky songs at Rudolfinum.
