I am currently waiting on back ordered parts to finish Les Paul Jr. #002 so in the mean time I have started the next batch of two guitars. I have started the build of two Telecaster clones. One "Purplecaster" will have a Purpleheart top, maple back, walnut core, two P90's, and a birdseye maple neck. The other "Maplecaster" will have a flame maple top, semi-curly maple back, three single coils, and a reverse birdseye maple neck. Check out the gallery for in progress pictures.

Construction lasted more than a year. There was a lot of time spent researching techniques, testing on scrap, and building jigs.
