Sweating to death! What a hot day. I don't even feel like sitting here and typing, because it's just that hot. I don't even know why I bother with the blog during the summer. You do so much in the summer, it's just hard to find time to continue the blog. Today the sky was full of smog. Great stuff, I'm telling ya. Frig sakes keep it where it comes from. It doesn't belong here, that's for sure. I had Dominic outside for an hour or so in his pool. What a devil he is. He would lean over the pool and pick the grass and put the grass in the pool. I had to keep his hat on him though, the sun was like burning my skin, so I know it would probably burn his head. He liked his pool quite a lot. It was fun to see him enjoy himself so much. I have some pictures of him out of the pool when I brought him in the house. Jamie wasted the battery again in the digital cam, so I couldn't take it outside to take any pictures, it had to be hooked to the computer to take any pictures. Oh my god guys, I can't sit here and type any longer the sweat is just rolling off me. UGH!

Wednesday, August 21, 2002 Sorry for such a wait for an update, but ahh well...I didn't have the chance to write anything this week. So anyway, a Regetta was going on down here last week and we were gone most of the time enjoying ourselves. Dominic got his picture taken with Cifford "The Big Red Dog". Which I will have up soon as I get my damn scanner to work again. We all watched the main parade, Dominic liked it and danced to the bag pipes which was so precious...you have to love him. He went to the boat parade after we watched some of the baseball game down at the field. When the boat parade was all over a man off the boat called "Ole Sock" came and gave Dominic all of the balloons off the boat and put them on the stroller. Dominic was laughing and playing with them. Then before then he threw his connect fishes down between the wharf and the docking station...and they were hanging on a ball of fishing line about a foot down. So I had to get Jamie to run up to the house and get a hanger and grab it like that. Which worked...thank god...because I didn't know where I could find them at anymore. And when I wasn't busy with the regetta I was watching about Elvis...sorry guys, but I love the man. A little less converstation a little more action please. I love the remix the did. I guess the fan of Elvis runs in the family. My father was a really big fan, and he had the whole hallway of our home full of Elvis. Now there is still 3 pictures and a guitar clock with Elvis' picture on it still up. But there used to be way more. I watched most of his movies with my father. Actually we own most of them. lol Crazy! And my father also brought a tape of a tour of his house and I think I watched that in amazment...it's just crazy...all those cars that he had. But anyways, enough about Elvis. Well Dominic is 9 months today! Horray!!!! My little buddy...growing up so fast...I want him to stay a little boy I think... He don't have to grow up...he can stay my baby forever...I wish he could. :( Well I better get going...I'm really thirsty here. Later! Hugs!

Friday, August 23, 2002 Well I have some news. Dominic started to crawl the day after he turned 9 months! I never thought this day would come! He never liked being on his belly to try to learn, and he had a habit of always wanting to walk not sit or crawl. So it surprised me. Dominic just went down to sleep for the night. He really didn't want to go to sleep before then, but he was tired and rubbing his eyes until they turned red. I felt so bad for him, he went down for a nap at 12pm and woke up at 3pm but about an hour later it seemed like he was tired or I should say overtired. Which was strange because he just woke up. He could be have a growth spurt again....I sure hope not though. Because it's almost like he is starving to death in the nights when he goes through those and he'll be up at 3am and back up at 4am for another feed. Oh my, the dog nextdoor is barking, it better not wake up Dominic! They went camping tonight and left that damn dog and all it does is bark at everything. Jesus...excuse my choice of language. Well atleast the nights down here are starting to cool off a bit. It's still pretty hot in the day, but here we had a cool breeze coming off the water, and the house was only 70 degrees, usually it's almost 80. But it's good to have a chill for awhile. Well I can't stay on for long because my show is coming on. (America's Funniest Home Video's) That's even if it still comes on...haven't watched in awhile. Been busy running around with my mother, plus Dominic. Can't leave him out of the picture. Well the scanner is still not working so I don't know what I'm going to do about that. The driver won't pick up on Windows 2000, ugh! I had it working on Windows Xp, but I also had the newer driver off the scanners website, and of course it has been down since this week. I'm soon going to buy a newer one. Well I got to go. Hugs!

Saturday, August 24, 2002 God damn it! I hate this damn scanner....sorry guys but I guess the picture of Clifford and Dominic will have to wait. Well I'm working on a new look...on the page that is...I also need a new look too, but that's besides the point. lol But anyways I don't have much "me" time to work on the new layout that much, but it will be done hopefully by the end of the month. Anyways, my eyes are getting heavy so I'm signning off.
