One Tired Mamma

December 14, 2001 Oh my God I can't believe how long it took me to finally update this page! Wow! Well our lil' Dominic is doing fine. He's a pretty big boy! The health nurse was here Wednesday to weigh him and check his lengths and he now weighs 10 pounds 11oz! I can't believe it but you can sure tell...those double chins tell it all. I'm not over feeding him thou so he must be saving up for a growth spurt. A month has almost went by already since I had him...time sure flies when you're not getting any sleep. The poor fellow has gas every now and again. But we usually know when he'll be crying for someone to come get him. We are getting it down pat. Right now he's sleeping and stretching...aww he's such a cutie. "Men at Work" lol that's what his shirt says. Anyway, Christmas is almost here! It doesn't even feel like it to me...blah we need some snow down here Mother Nature! We only had not even 5cm of snow and that only lasted a day! It speaks for snow tonight...and of course it would! Jamie's brother is coming home tomorrow and if the roads are snow covered this gal isn't leaving the house with no baby. I wouldn't take the chance...no way...I'm "over" protective with him, I know...but he's more than likely the only child I'm going to have so I have the right to be. But I do sometimes go overboard...like I one day I didn't want anyone to hold him besides me and Jamie...I dunno why I got that feeling. I have to get over it though, I got to realize that I did carry him for 9 months but there's other people important in his life. Was anyone else like that? If you were email me! Anyway, he is soon going to wake up for his feeding so I better get off...I hope I'll be able to make time to update more...but be patient...I'm a new mom and I want to spend as much time with him as possible. Time spoiling him is more like it. lol Hugs!
