I'm just here to say that I finally had my baby! IT'S A BOY! I'm so glad he's here, but I can't really update because I'm really sore and sitting in this chair isn't helping any at all. So I'll just tell you the basics. He (Dominic Douglas Doyle) was born on, Wednesday, November 21 2001. He was 8 pounds and 4 1/2ozs. Really big boy! I was only in labour for 6 hours and I'll tell you all about that once my stitches heal and I'm able to sit for a long period. Also pics will be up soon too. Hugs!
November 27, 2001 You can read the birth story here. I will get pics up...I just have my hands full at the moment. I'm a first time mom and not used to not getting sleep and not having time for myself. But I love motherhood I would never change that. Well I will update and get those pics up as soon as my mother gets her film developed. There might be a pic of him tonight if he wakes up so just check the pics page. Hugs!
November 28, 2001 OoO my God I love this little boy! He is such a darling. Right now he's sitting in his car seat asleep...making acouple of noises. Poor fellow had a hard time last night. He had gas pains and even though we tried everything to get those burps up nothing would work. Then it was the same this morning he just wouldn't burp again but he's feeling better now. He had me worried today he didn't poo and I was scared that he was constipated because he would grunt a lot, but he did a good one acouple of hours ago..Jamie got that treat. lol Jamie is an awesome daddy only thing he won't let Dominic cry when he wakes up. As soon as he makes a sound Jamie is right there picking him up. Speaking about making noises he just farted. lol Taking after his father already. lol Well Dominic is now up and needs to be feed and changed so I have to tend to my lil boy. Hugs
November 30, 2001 =( My mother just took Dominic away to sleep with her...Ooo I'm gonna miss him something awful, even though he keeps us up most of the night I still enjoy getting up with him and he usually takes a fit and scratches my face, but hey that's the joy of being a parent. lol Last night he was up 'til 4 in the morning. Ugh! Talk about getting fustrated, but I kept my cool, Jamie was getting alittle stressed out and this morning took a painic attack when Dominic awoke crying. He'll get used to him crying, it's just that Jamie doesn't know what's that matter with him and doesn't know what he can do to make him stop. He has to understand that babies do cry. Ooo my, anyways, Dominic is finally getting used to bathing, he doesn't cry as much. Before he would cry through the whole thing, but I'm sure he'll enjoy it more once we are able to put him in the tub, right now it's only sponge baths. I'll have a bunch of pics of Dominic too soon! Me and mom are planning on going out of town for the day, on Tuesday and we are taking our finished film to the one hour photo in Wal-Mart. It really sucks being out in the sticks and not having the luxury others have, besides peace and quiet. Since I'm going away Jamie will have to look after Dominic by himself...which he is capable of doing. Just a minute ago he was complaining because he only got to hold him twice this evening. Aww he loves him so much. Well, my mother took Dominic so I could rest up not so I could update my Journal so I'm signing off. Hugs!
