About 3 medium sweet potatoes (yield about 2 pies) put potatoes in a large pot cover w/ water and boil till tender (potatoes are done when you can put a fork through them easily) drain in a colander till cool enough to handle (you want to begin mixing the potatoes while still very warm the ingredients will mix better) scrape the skin off w/ a sharp knife mash the potatoes with a fork add to the potatoes:

1 1/2 cups white sugar
1cup brown sugar
4eggs
1stick of butter or margarine
1/2-cup pet milk (regular milk is ok)
Beat w/ hand mixer till well blended
Taste the mixture you might need another half cup of white sugar (if so add it at this point)
Add:

2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Mix well
Pour into two uncooked pie shells
Bake 400 degrees for the first 15mins
Turn the oven down to 350 for last 45mins

If possible bake the place the pies in the oven on a cookie sheet to bake...
