Items needed 1. Round steak or sirloin steak (not to thick) 2. Salt & pepper to taste 3. 1 Medium onion (cut in strips) 4. 1 Large green pepper (cut in strips) 5. Oil to cover bottom of skillet 6. Flour 7. Soy sauce (1 tablespoon) 8. 1 Can cream of mushroom soup (plus 1 can of water) Preparation 1. Cut steak in strips ( 2. Season w/spices of choice (seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder) 3. Coat all sides w/ flour (w/ side of saucer beat both sides of the steak all over) 4. Brown in skillet or dutch oven over med. high heat 5. Remove steak from pan to drain on paper towel 6. Cut onions and green pepper in strips saut� in butter (I usually do this in the microwave) just till tender (about two minutes) 7. Set the onions and green peppers aside. 8. Pour grease out of the skillet add can of soup plus 1 can of water 9. Stir until mixed well. 10. Add steak and soy sauce cook over medium heat stir occasionally. 11. Cook the steak and gravy about 45 min (keep your eye on it so the bottom of the pan doesn�t stick) 12. Add soy sauce and green peppers and onions at this point. Let the mixture cook another 10 or 15 min. 13. Serve over hot rice. |
