| Stuart only ever played three matches for the club - two starts and one substitute appearance - before retiring due to injury. All his appearances came at the start of the 2003/4 season when East Court were playing their football in division 6. He made his debut at home to local rivals Dormansland Rockets in a cup game on 27 September 2003 is a game we were unlucky to lose 2-1. The following Saturday he made his league debut in the 2-2 draw with Jarvis Brook II. His final game was against Heath Pilgrims II. Stuart holds an unenviable club record having made the most appearances for the club without playing in an ECFC win. Stuart was very much a squad player for the club whose chance arrived when Billy Denyer, Ross Kelly and Simon Nickols were in Australia and Nick Palmer was in Canada. He was mostly deployed on the right hand side of midfield but struggled to make an impact due to a lack of fitness. |
