| Centre back Jonny Crittell was signed from local rivals West Hoathly in the summer of 2003 to provide cover to the squad while numerous players were travelling. He only managed five games at the start of the spell when Billy Denyer, Ross Kelly, Simon Nickols and Nick Palmer were all away travelling before he too went abroad. During this time East Court struggled for points but the highlight of his 5 games was the 6-1 victory at East Grinstead Utd IV when Martyn Bishop and Nick Clarkson-Tooze both grabbed hattricks. His lowest point came when his own goal secured a 4-2 home defeat by ten-man Chailey when keeper Andrew Mackie?s attempted clearance bounced back off Crittell into the net. |
