| Saturday 03 April 2004 Ashurst Wood II 0 East Court 1 A SOLITARY goal from Billy Denyer was enough to give East Court all three points in this Mid Sussex Football League Division 6 on Saturday (April 3) and in the process condemn Ashurst Wood II to relegation. Although the score-line suggested a close game, the final result flattered the home side and they were indebted to their keeper for preventing a much heavier defeat. Time and time again he thwarted attack after attack by East Court. The pick of the saves coming from a free kick from Denyer, which was tipped wide. But East Court did find a way through mid-way through the first half when Martyn Bishop's long ball found Denyer 25-yards from goal and he took one touch to control before firing into the top corner of the net. Despite needing to win to avoid relegation, Ashurst Wood could not hit the target and East Court kept their fifth clean sheet in the last seven games.
