| Saturday 16 November 2002 Maresfield Village III 5 East Court FC 4 EAST Court FC lost their unbeaten record in the Mid Sussex League division 7 on Saturday (November 16) when they threw away a three goal lead against Maresfield Village III. Despite not playing particularly well East Court found themselves 3-0 up after half an hour thanks to two goals from James Salter and one from Andrew Wright. The home side threatened to fight back and scored when East Court failed to clear a corner and a Maresfield player knocked the ball into the goal. East Court restored their three goal advantage when Ross Kelly thundered a shot into the bottom left hand corner but Maresfield came back and scored again just before half time. In the space of 10 second half minutes Maresfield scored three times to grab the lead. East Court pushed forward but were unable to break through and the home side held on for three well-deserved points.
