| Saturday 19 October 2002 East Court FC 2 Lindfield III 2 DESPITE Andrew Wright and Mark Nolan scoring their first goals for the club, East Court FC were held to a 2-2 draw by Lindfield III on Saturday (October 19). East Court fell behind when a speculative effort from almost 40 yards flew over keeper Andrew Seeds' head and into the top corner. But East Court came back and equalised through Wright. David Nolan played a pass to Carl Buckler on the left wing and his curling cross was prodded home by the East Court right back. Mark Nolan then got on the scoresheet as he fired past the Lindfield keeper to give East Court the lead, but the away team came back and equalised before half time. In the second half Lindfield put 10 men behind the ball and East Court could not break them down. Billy Denyer came close but saw his deflected effort hit the top of the crossbar. To make matters worse for East Court, substitute Martyn Bishop was sent off in the last minute after receiving a second yellow card. Wright had a chance to give East Court all three points in the final seconds but he blasted wide.
