| Saturday 14 September 2002 East Court FC 3 Plumpton Athletic III 1 GOALS from Billy Denyer, James Salter and Ben Sunderland were enough to give East Court FC three points against Plumpton Athletic III in this Mid Sussex League division seven match. East Court started well and found themselves ahead when Denyer was put through and he side footed past the Plumpton keeper. The home side added a second from a corner. The initial cross was missed by everyone but the ball went to Salter and his half volley found the back of the net. Despite creating more chances East Court could not add to their lead and Plumpton pulled one back with a well taken goal. In the closing minutes East Court secured victory when a cross from Ross Kelly was met by Sunderland.
