East Court can look forward to two games against local and promotion rivals Dormansland Rockets as well as two cup quarter finals against Scaynes Hill (D3) and Fletching (D4). The full list of fixtures can be found here. 22/01/06 Friday night saw the first poker night of 2006, Richard Hayes and Chris Whiting claimed joint first place and each walked away with half the jackpot. 20/01/06 BREAKING NEWS: RICHARD HAYES TRANSFER COMPLETE Yesterday the transfer of midfield enforcer Richard Hayes from Roffey to East Court was completed. The transfer has gone through in time for Richard to make his debut for the club tomorrow against Nutley II. Both player and club are said to be delighted to be linking up at this time as East Court look to kickstart their season after last weekends club record defeat at home to AFC Ringmer. Hayes has also previously played in the Mid Sussex League for Ardingly. 11/01/06 BREAKING NEWS: RICHARD HAYES ON THE WAY TO ECFC? Rumours are circulating Mid Sussex that Roffey midfielder Richard Hayes has fallen out with his manager and could be on his way to East Court. Club spokesman Cecil B Doddery recently read out this prepared statement: "It is club policy not to comment on transfer speculation until any business has been concluded. It is well known that Mr Hayes was a player we were interested in signing in the summer and we will be following developments closely." Despite this refusal to comment East Court are still being linked with the combative midfielder. It is believed that talks area ongoing between the two clubs and that any transfer from Roffey to East Court will cost in the region of �5. 08/01/06 BREAKING NEWS: JANUARY JAKS AVOIDANCE INITIATIVE FAILS Last night the Lonely Hearts Club were left wondering what might have been after their attempt to avoid local nightclub Billie Rox (a.k.a Jumpin Jaks) throughout January fell at the first hurdle. The much-maligned venue was the scene of drunken revelry and the club could be found dancing the night away to Billie Rox top tunes. While the majority of the Lonely Hearts were unlucky in love yet again, Chris Whiting did manage to score though so a good start to the year! 07/01/06 Todays Stubbins Cup Quarter Final against Scaynes Hill has been postponed due to snow covering the pitch. Also, all match reports are now up and the Player Profile pages are starting to be added. 01/01/06 Yesterdays game against Nutley II was postponed so next up will be Scaynes Hill at Imberhorne on the 7th. |
