Setsuna is a somewhat more mysterious character. She appears earlier than the other outer senshi, but she remains very aloof. Her entire life she has been the guardian of the Time Gate. Unlike the other senshi, she has no one to replace her. She is to be the guardian for all time. Due to her being away from people, she is actually very lonely, and when Chibi Usa found her way to the Time Gate, Setsuna grew very attached to her. Their relationship is much like that of a parent and child, or perhaps like that of a woman and her �baby� sister.
Setsuna is a very elegant and sophisticated person, though the main reason that many people love her is due to the enigma that surrounds her. She may seem cold at first, but she is bound by very strict rules. Even then, she was willing to sacrafice herself and bend the rules to save her friends.
