Ami is a very sweet and studious girl. Many people thinks of her as being nothing more than a brainiac, but in the later seasons she starts to really get into some of the whacky things that the senshi do. One example is when she went with them to spy on Usagi and Mamoru on their date.
People also accuse her of being weak as a senshi. Her attacks are mostly defensive, yes, but they are just as important as the attacks of the other senshi. She is the strategist of the group, and if she were not there, the senshi would have failed numerous times.
