FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW BOTH TEAMS HAVE COME HOME WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAQUE. GREAT JOB OM!!!!! THE BOYS PLACED 5 IN THE TOP 8 AND 7 IN THE TOP 15 TO EDGE OUT CATOCTIN BY 5 POINTS. THE GIRLS PLACED 6 IN THE TOP 15 AND PUT 7 GIRLS IN BEFORE ANY OTHER TEAM'S 5TH GIRL FINISHED. THEY WENT ON TO WIN BY 20 POINTS OVER POOLSVILLE. THE STATE MEET WILL BE HELD AT HEREFORD HS ON NOV. 9. THE GIRLS RUN AT 1:30PM AND THE BOYS AT 2:30PM. Hebron @ OMHS 9/18/02 - Girls Mt. Hebron @ OMHS 9/18/02 - Boys Howard County Invitational Results Congratulations to both the boys and girls squad on a great first meet. The boys were lead by Rick McGinnis, Mahmoud Abouelrous, Mark Grgurich, and Craig Lebro finishing in the first 4 spots. We had 32 boys finish the race and the times were very impressive, especially for the newcomers. The boys went on to win the dual meet 16-47. The girls stepped up to the challenge and held off a much improved Long Reach team with a score of 23-34. The girls were lead by Tracy Singer who finished first in the girls race. Allison Densmore, Genevieve Riebel and Erica Robinson gave strong performances finishing 3rd, 6th and 11th, respectively. Newcomers Lily Schmidt (5th), Sarah Klyap (8th), Sarah Lebro (9th) and Holli Hackett (12th) had very impressive first races. Check out results below and pictures with the link above.
