| OMOS Phlebotomy, Homebound Services, and Specimen Collection |
| OMOS offers phlebotomy services to the community and businesses that operate in Pleasants County and it's neighboring counties. Blood work drawn at Outpatient Medical Outreach Servicess, LLC is sent to Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings, INC. for testing. The patient's doctor has results back the following day on any collection made before noon. Our phlebotomist are certified and have over fifteen years of experience in the field. One of our specialties is young children and the elderly of our community. |
| OMOS collects all types of specimen such as blood, urine, stool, saliva, sputum, throat cultures, and eye cultures. All insurances are accepted at OMOS. We are CLIA certified as an independant laboratory and a provider for Medicare, Ohio and West Virginia Medicaid. |
| REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVICES |
| Doctors Prescription for blood work or specimen collection. Homebound patients must have HOMEBOUND on order. |
| Copy of insurance or insurances. |
| OMOS does at times contract it's phlebotomy services out to insurance companies and other contractors. Those rates can be discussed on a per job basis. |
| OMOS is a LabOne Collection and Drop off site. |
| With a doctors order OMOS can perform Pulse Oximetry to determine if a patient requires oxygen. These are overnight studies and will only be performed with a doctors order. |
