The story of a walk in a foreign country Yabanci bir lkede bir yrys yks |
If you happened to be one of those who have had to leave or who have voluntarily left the sunbeam of Aegean warmth on the autumn foliage of plane trees among white marble-like boulders over a dark blue pool and the mountains of Ida... or the huge white stone gods that turn into a lovely red at sunset, colouring the strong winds of mount Nemrut... or the most beautiful symphony you can hear by the river Firat............and if you happened to come to Europe either to earn your living or to get educated..It is likely that you will go through a depressing period..
So.. you will survive or you will go back...to survive you should be aware of the fact that only you can help yourself..Try to stand on your own feet first.. If you are brave enough to fight to survive then you will possibly have two ways to go..
One of the ways will lead you to hatred of the host country and the people living there and you will probably overvalue your own country..This will be a kind of compensation for your broken heart.. but at the end of the road you are bound to find yourself buried in darkness..

but, you, my friend, should know that our country is not a good boy..It is a fact that he is a beautiful child and he is yours but it is also a fact that he is rather naughty.. Try to be objective..Keep loving your country but do not overvalue it...Try to see the truth..
The second way will end up in the awareness of the fact that love is your only guide..Love of humanbeings and nature... love of your soul.. It is not easy to unlock the doors of your heart to let the others in especially when you feel insecure in a foreign country but once you manage to do it you will start to see the light coming over the Aegean Sea to colour your small island...
