Every year the Omega Alpha Graduate Chapter selects an organization that we will support, by hosting/facilitating workshops and fundraisers that will benefit the organization.
Omega Alpha's Philanthropy for 2008-2009, is ELECT/CTC:
Education Leading to Employment and Career Training/
Cradle The Classroom
ELECT/CTC's main focus is to keep pregnant teen parents attending school and successfully graduate from high school. The program also helps student's transition from high school to an institute of higher education, or an immediate career.
In an effort to support the educational enhancement of our community, Omega Alpha Created an annual book scholarship to assist a local high school student who will be attending an institute of higher education, with buying books for school.
