   Aiding in a Ph.D. which is in progress at Cairo University, subject: "Rotor Dynamics", by providing AutoCAD drawings for the whole doctorate and the presentation slides.
2001 Instructing AutoCAD training course, Cairo: (1 month-paid)
   I was responsible for instructing AutoCAD 2000® courses for junior mechanical design students. This included preparing course syllabus with gradating examples, preparing print-outs and lecturing in computer lab.
2000- MayShip Repair Inc, New York: (6 weeks-paid)
   Activity: Docking, ships repair and ship building.
I carried out material calculations and listings of barge constructions. Prepared component lists for the purchasing department. Gauging and preparing charts and drawings of different sections and elements in steel structures, oil tanks and barge systems like HVAC, Fuel Oil, etc. Computer drafting of structures and oil barge tanks. 2000- Maadi Engineering Industries, Cairo: (1 month-no pay)
  Activity: Production of various -intricate- mechanical components, 8" &10" deep well pumps. My training was in the design department and the production facility. In the design dept., I was involved in process sheets revision, mechanical parts computer drawing. In the production, I was introduced to pump components machining & assembly, CNC vertical milling processes, Quality assurance.
1998-1999 Service Center for Metals and Chemistry, SADAT Industrial city: (4 months-paid)
   Activity: Steel and cast iron factory spare parts supplier.
I was involved in various machining processes and heat treatments of different machine components (shear blades, gears, dies, shafts, etc.). I was responsible also for developing a database for the purchasing files and job orders, database developed by MS� Access.
2002 FAG Delegation office, Cairo: (3 Days)
   Attended a training course on roller bearing. The course included an introduction on ball and cylindrical bearing types, designs and fundamentals, a focus on mounting, dismounting, lubrication and service. Having a view over the newest innovations in the roller bearing industry as well as bearing failure precautions
2002 Cairo University, Cairo: (one week)
   Attended a course titled:"System dynamics and analysis using Matlab/Simulink . Content included mathematical modeling, frequency response, PID and root locus methods with applications on mechanical, hydromechanical and electrical SISO systems. see details of course
