Athens 2004 Olympics

Welcome to our Sail Athens 2004 Olympics project . We invite you to join us in the adventure of a life time.

We will be sailing [Skippered 'Bare-Boat' Charter yachts] from Corfu or Leykada in the Adriatic , through the Gulf of Corinth (and the Corinthian Canal) to  Piraeus or Alimos [Athens]. Leaving on Friday the 6 August 2004 we plan to arrive on Thursday 12 August 2004 (The day before the opening of the Olympics)

We will attend the 2004 Olympics opening ceremony on Friday 13 August and then spend the next 8 to 14 days on the yachts, attending selected Olympic events and/or day sailing out of the marina. We plan on leaving for home on Sunday 22  or Sunday the 29 August.
