The 2005 Middle School Olympics were really fun. 7th and 8th graders participated in the events. There were a lot of events to choose from, but I chose to participate in the shot put, discus, and the football throw. I also participated in the relay race with my team. I did very well in the events and I was happy with my performance.

My team did very well in the Olympics and that is why we had so much fun. I am very happy that we had the chance to participate. Our gym teachers did a great job organizing this event and making this event fun. They put a lot of time into these Olympic events.
Without them we wouldnt have had an Olympics.

The Olympics was great and we all had lots of fun. The Olympics taught us to work as a team. I will always remember participating in the Olympics. I wish the Olympics werent over because it was so much fun. Hopefully, next year Ill be able to participate while Im in 8th grade and hopefully Ill do well again.

During the Olympics I was in the throton and the discus and shock put. First was the discus and I did alright I wasnt the farthest but I was pretty close. Then came time for the throton and I like that because play a lot of sports where you throw something like football baseball and basketball. So I think I throw about eighty feet and that wouldve came in like third I think. Then came time for the long jump and I didnt do to well. I really dont jump a lot so I alright I guess not the best though.

The Olympics was a time where teams of 4 to 5 competed against each other in different games. It was a fun time that everyone enjoyed. I especially enjoyed it because it was a time where the 7th and 8th graders got to compete in events that most people had never tried before, so everyone had the same amount of talent. It was also fun because you met new people. In the group I was in, that consisted of two 8th graders and two 7th graders (which was like most groups), I met the 8th graders and got to know them as well as got to know the other 7th grader. So, I think that the Olympics was a fun time for everyone and Im glad I got to experience it!

When I had my first Olympic games at LMS I participated in 3 events.  They were Discus, 50 yard dash, and mile run.  Both of the running events were tiring but fun.  I came in third for the mile run and I dont know about the other events.

My Olympic team name is Sweden and I think we did a great job.  When our team ran together in the relay race, we beat our time by 6 seconds but we still didnt win.  But I think are team worked well together though.  These Olympic Games at LMS were good and next year we should do the same thing.

The Olympics

The Olympics was a very fun experience for me, and Im sure other kids had a great time doing it also. The people in my group were Jeff, David, one of Jeffs classmates, and I. The events I did were the shotput, discus, relay, and the throton. Our group came in second for the throton with a distance of 102 feet .My discus throw was very weak and so was my teammates so we did bad in that event. The relay started off pretty good for us but then the other groups put there really fast kids at the end so we lost that event also. My shotput was good for me but some of the 8th graders were just too strong in this event. I will never forget this great experience we did in my 7th grade gym class.
