The Olympics was really fun. I was so excited about it. My team was Japan. There were a lot of events to choose from, but I chose shot-put, football throw, and the quarter mile run. My most favorite event was the shot-put. I threw it pretty far, but other kids threw it farther than me, so I got knocked out of third place. I didn�t do too well in the football throw. I know I got last place in the quarter mile run, but it was fun. In my old school, we didn�t do things as fun as this. This is the best gym class I have ever had.
The weather was so cold and everybody was shivering. Everyone was wearing shorts with a short sleeve shirt. It wasn�t exactly a good day to go outside. We also had to stay outside for two periods! But when we started running, we got warmer. When I got inside, I couldn�t even move my fingers! Well, that�s the school Olympics. I hope the weather outside for you students will be a lot better.

�My experience at the first annual LMS Olympics was great! I got to throw the discus, Football throw and run the quarter mile, we had a lot of fun.� In the discus I came in 3rd and I was very happy. I didn�t do as well in the football throw although I threw it the farthest out of my group. The last even I did was the quarter mile and by then I was tired and ran out of energy so I didn�t do as well as I thought I would. Everyone did the relay race and I believe we came in second in that event.
�We had a lot of fun though and our team worked together!�

In the Olympic Games I didn�t play but my teammates were there.
Also when my teammates told me about the game they sounded really tired and when they told me I wish I could have been there because I wanted to do the football throw. Also I wanted to do the discs and the shot-put I don�t think I would have won any of them anyway because Travis was on almost all the things I was on. But I think I would have won the discs because I was kind of good at that. But I don�t think I would have won any of the events. Also I did the long jump I don�t think I would have had a chance. Well that�s all I was in so I�m done for the day.

The Olympic games of the year 2005 were interesting. When I was doing the discus I thought I was going to be horrible because when I was practicing I did not do so great. So when it was my turn to go up and through the discus for real I just felt the humiliation coming on like everyone even my friends just put me down like I was a piece of rag or something. But when I was up there I just told myself I can do my best and after I released it I felt I shiver down my spine but when they told me how far I threw it I was shocked I was the one who got it the farthest of all the girls! After that little game I went on to shot put this was the only game out of all the other games that I actually liked and I was good at so while I was waiting I could hardly stay still of the excitement that was upon me! When I got up there I did my very best and I felt really good when I went on to the next game like as if I got something off my chest. The last game that I played individually was the quarter mile run and I was going against Devon the tallest guy on my team! , who was also a fast runner. As I got ready to go all I could feel was my breath shortening as if I had asthma and then all of a sudden the whistle blew and everyone was off! As I was running I felt the endurances in me and then I just started to slow down and felt like I was going to faint and then I felt like I was choking. I was shortly away from the finish line and then out of the blue three people came in front of me and then it was done I took a break and that was it the end to the Olympic games of Lincoln middle school of the year 2005!

This year the 7th and 8th grades students in the Team Triple Threat competed in the 1st annual school Olympic Games. You had to compete in three of the following categories without including the relay race which everyone did. The ones that are underlined are the ones I did: Discus throw, 50 yard dash, 50 yard hurdle, Standing long jump, Football throw and shot put.
Since it took up the 1st and 2nd periods of gym we were all freezing our butts off. We didn�t get a chance to finish it on the first day so we had to do the relay and the 50 yard dash after the weekend. You can guess that it was freezing on Monday too (I hate Mondays). I don�t think my team won but we did pretty well.

The Olympics was great. We had lots of fun running and throwing my personal favorite was the � mile. I came in second on that. I also did the 50 yard dash with hurdles and without hurdles and I came close to the top in that. I think if we did it on a different day than the first day where it was 20 degrees then I think it would have been a lot better. My group was Alex, Avelina, Renee, Dave and, Ryan. Alex put the finishing touches on our third place stand in the relay. While I was coming close near the top in both 50 yard dashes. Dave won the shot-put and Avelina and Renee both put up great efforts. In the relay we started second and fell to fourth when Dave and Alex picked us up with a great finish. I hope I have physical education first semester next year in eighth grade because this was very fun I will never forget it� until next year!

The 7th and 8th grade Olympics were very fun! Their were many different events like shot-put, throw tons, long jump, hurdles and many more events. I participated in many events. The events were long jump; throw tons, hurdles, and everyone had to run in the relay race. Outside, it was freezing cold. But, I made it through the morning. I think that I did well in all of my events. Ryan O was the fastest in my group we did well in the running events. I loved the Olympics and I think that I would like to do it again!
