The thing that made the original Series great with James T Kirk at helm was the confidence he seemed to have with a little cockiness. He had a twinkle in his eye so to speak. Even the way he walked was like a man that was in control. Though this was not as evident in the Star Trek movies, he never the less was my hero and the greatest star ship captain that ever was and will be.
The original series greatness was never duplicated in the next generation or any of the other star trek cloned series or movies. Not only the actors and actresses cast in the original series great, but the way that each episode would end with a joke. The uniforms were also superior to anything that came afterwards.
To kill off Kirk was a bad choice. He should be brought back to life even if it is his last star trek movie. There is a void in the star trek saga without Kirk being somewhere out there. Bring back James T. Kirk. |
