The Friberg house which now stands contains a log house beneath the walls of the house structure  shown. Wood walls were erected around the original structure. Also the wooden barn which now partially standing  was erected over top of original log barn and as you can see the log structure underneath is very sound.
Lazurus Creek runs behind the barn to the west.
Christina and Friberg's grave stones are located approximately a mile to the northeast. Christinas' last name is spelled as Olson while Fribergs' last name is spelled Olsen. The right spelling is in questionable, though the offspring use the spelling Olson.
Writing a biography for Friberg and Christina is an ongoing process which will continue for some time. So keep checking back and look for more information and pictures.

I have a picture of the log structure that is carved with an A.D.  At this date I dont know who it was. My guess is it was carved after the
Friberg family sold the farm after Friberg's death.
