May 4 - Confirmation Retreat- You will find information on this in your Confirmation booklet. Don't forget community service hours will be collected.
May 8 - Core Meeting - 6:15 -7:45pm
May 10 - Flower Cleaning - Our Mother's Day Carnation Sale is one of our best fund raisers each year. this year we will be using the money toward our trip to St. Augustine. I have ordered 1000 Carnations and we also need help cleaning them. We will start at 6:00PM and I would really like help from parents and the sharp knives they can bring.
May 11 & 12 - Flower Sales - Before and after all masses on Saturday and Sunday. Starting at 4:00PM on Saturday and 7:10AM omn Sunday.
May 12 - Baccalaureate Mass - At the 10:30 Mass. Call Helen and get your name on the list of those who will be or have graduated from some program between July 2001 and July 2002.
May 15 - Confirmation Practice - We will meet in the hall and head to church together. Remember that if your sponser can't make practice you need to bring a warm body to fill space with you. This should take about an hour.
May 16 - Confimation - Finally the big day. Take a deep breath and rely on GOD.
May 18 - Ordination @ St. Judes - If you have never seen an ordination you may want to join us. I need to know by May 4, if you would like to attend so that I may call our numbers into Fr. Len's office. The Ordination starts at 11:00AM, so we will need to leave our parish by 9:15. I'm guessing we should be back by 2:00PM, but as with anything else, if we are going to be late we will call parents. Permission slips are a must. There are three men who are being ordained on this day. I also need to remind you that we will be at the cathedral so I will need those going to dress accordingly. May 26 - Regular Meeting - 6:30 - 8:00PM
June 5 - Core Meeting - 6:15 - 7:45PM
June 7, 8, 9 - St. Agustine Retreat - If you plan to go on this trip a deposit of $50 is due by May 1. This is the best way for us to get a number for a room count. Information available at all meetings.
June 14 - Flower Cleaning - Due to complaints we will be having our first carnation sale for Father's Day. Same times and directions as the cleaning and sale for Mother's Day.
June 15 & 16 - Flower Sales- Before and after all Masses.
June 30 - Regular Meeting - 6:30 - 8:00PM
