Morning Revival: Enjoying the Lord's Freshness in the MorningWell, I finally did it. I had morning revival with Brother Eric this morning. After anticipating to start for nearly a month, we finally were able to call each other up. It was a typical Monday morning, except that we didn't have school. Still use to my school schedule, I ended up waking up at about 6:30. I decided to remain in bed for a while longer, when at 6:40, the phone rang. I was pretty sure it had been Eric, since he told me the day before that he was going to call me around 6:45. I picked up the phone, and indeed it was Eric. We started with 1 Corinthians, chapter 1. We read verses 1-9, then pray read verses 3 and 4. After that, we read some footnotes and we finally ended with some prayer.
It may have seemed like a regular morning revival, but this time the Lord was different. The Lord's is so fresh in the morning. The Lord is so dear, he is so sweet, and he is so enjoyable. As we all know, a crucial part of our Christian life is that we need to spend some private time with the Lord. The best time is in the morning. I strongly encourage all of the young people to find a companion, who they can call up in the morning to enjoy the Lord! J. Wang
