Our Lady of Mount Carmel fields a golf team in the spring of each year. This season the team will compete in the MIAA C Conference with Cardinal Gibbons, Park and Annapolis Christian. The golf team is open to both males and females, begins practice in early March, and concludes in the middle of May. The team competes at many of the local courses, but calls Rocky Point Golf Course home. The team utilizes the driving range and putting greens, as well as the course itself to practice. The school has purchased indoor hitting mats and nets that will allow the team to practice during inclement weather. The student athlete must provide their own equipment, and may be asked to help defray practice expenses. |
