Catalog Description and Credit Hours of Course:
This course provides an intensive study of procedures related to the office area. Emphasis is placed on the co-worker relationships in the workplace, modern office equipment and its practical uses, telephone skills, and future trends in office maintenance. The Records Management portion of the course is a practical application of current practices in managing the more common types of records and record keeping systems. Course meets 4 hours per week.

Purposes and Objectives of the Course:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to

Do scheduling, make appointments and receive visitors
Understand the process of incoming and outgoing mail
