Bessie Eugenia Hagan Kellam -----
Daughter of William Edward Hagan. Bessie was born Jan. 22, 1890 in Abbeville Co., SC. She married Robert Lee Kellam, Son of Ramalius Franklin Kellam and Martha Jane Shaw Kellam. While living near Weaversville, NC with 3 childrens and another one on the way, her husban dies. She has him shipped by train to SC to be buried at Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery near Shoals Junction, SC. She then moves to Greenville where Robert Lee is born. Her and family along with her Mother, brothers and sisters move to Washington DC where the family operated a bakery. Bessie died in DC on May 1, 1950 and buried in the Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Maryland just out side of DC. |
