The Beauty of Nigeria

Home

Nigeria is situated on the West of Africa, bordering the Gulf of Guinea, between Cameroon and Benin. The country is made of a    various kinds of climates, equatorial in the south, Arid in the north and tropical in center. The country is made up of a vast diverse ethnic groups. There are the Igbo's, Yoruba's and the Hausas who are the three main tribes in the country. Other tribes are either smaller groups that have come out of these tribes or just smaller ethnic groups on their own. But no matter how these groups are   classified as different, they have similar traditions, culture and at times similar words in language. English is the most spoken language in Nigeria, so it is easy for any foreigner to go around the city without getting confused about language. The capital of Nigeria is Abuja state, it was formally Lagos before it was transferred.

There are a lot of large cities in Nigeria. There is Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Ibadan. These are the main thriving cities in Nigeria.

The Nigerian government has been growing for the past forty-two years. The economy is still growing with a lot of profit coming from the production of oil. The country's profit goes into the hands of the leaders, leaving the oil drillers, and others as dry as a dessert and causing fuel scarcity. This is what shows our country, corruption, instead of a country free of corruption and represents democracy.  But as citizens we hope for the better of our country with loyal and honest leaders.
