We have been breeding llamas for fifteen years and our herd, which started with two llamas, has swelled to over twenty. Our Llamas are trained from birth to be gentle and friendly. We also train them to preform various tasks such as pulling carts, allowing people to ride them, and to lay down on command. Some Llamas, if introduced to a herd of small animals like sheep or goats at a young age, will form a bond with the animals and will act as a guard keeping watch over the flock. They scream a warning if there are intruders and in some cases the llamas will herd the animals away from danger.
