This is my page dedicated to the 1985 Calais Pace Car Replica.
I won this car on ebay October 6th 2005 for $157.50. The auction also included a 1986 Pontiac Sunbird Convertible.
On October 13th at 0700 I left for MD from NY to get them with my GMC Canyon.
My Girlfriend dollied the Calais and I drove the Sunbird. The Sunbird got 32.6 MPG on the 398 mile trip HOME!!!
We stopped in Painted Post, NY to rest at about 0130 Friday after a LOOOOONG day of driving.
Here it is when we got home Friday the 14th around noon. |

Yeah, its not perfect at all but it's in pretty good shape. I notice the right rear wheel is missing, Turn Signal switch is broken, dash is FADED on top drivers side, Drivers seat is ripped, Headliner is sagging, missing a floormat, Power Antenna Mast is Broken, Speaker holes cut in the door panels, No Speakers in the car, STUPID glasspack for a muffler, and clear coat GONE from the hood. A few things are smaller problems than thought originally. Look BELOW!!!! |
