Lloyd
My Meowmie and Deowdie adopted me and my brofur M&M when we were six months old.
They were my second adoptive parents. Our first set of adoptive parents were my
present Meowmie's son Mike and his wife Missy. My brofur M&M was named after them
andI was named for one of Missy's favorite neighborhood youngsters named Lloyd.
My brofur M&M and I joined CLAW in October 1998 when my Meowmie found this
wonderful web site, Cindy's Cat Pages. CLAW was mentioned in her pages so we joined
CLAW and our Meowmie made us our furry own web page titled M&M and Lloyd/FatCats.
My brofur M&M and I were not furry active in CLAW for some time. We would check in
to see what was happening every once in a while. When my Meowmie's job and
responsibilities lightened up we became active in CLAW. We attended University and
passed all of our exams for BCC, MFAS, MHV, and MHTS and we are accepted for
graduation this August. We joined the Flower Society, The Victorian Cat Society,
The History Society and of course The Older Cats Society. Our story is in the members
book of The Older cats Society.
I have always shared everything wif my brofur M&M. We shared our kitty food dish,
our toys, our Meowmie and Deowdie and even our furry large litter box. It was furry
rare to see us two cats apart from each other. The only time we were apart was when
Deowdie would take us one at a time to visit the Vet in our single cat carrier. There isn't
enough room for us two cats to be together in it. We were both indoor cats and we were
neutered. I was also declawed because I liked to gauge up good furniture and would not
scratch on my kitty post.
M&M was the most aggressive of us two cats. He was always beating me up and sent my fur
flying. I am a sneaky cat. I would wait until M&M fell asleep, then I took this chance to
pounce on him in a surprise attack. Then I ran and hid from him. I am a furry mushy cat.
My Deowdie calls me a "Wimp." I like to sleep and snuggle with my Meowmie every night
and I push Deowdie out of my way. M&M always slept at the foot of the bed. I also like my
catnip toys. Meowmie buried M&M's toys with him so I do not share anything with him
anymore. He is buried in the back yard shade garden where I can see his site from the
back sunporch door. I like the sunporch the best of all the rooms in the house. It has eight
windows and the screen door. Here I watch the birds at the feeders and the squirrels
and birds scrambling to gather all of the unshelled peanuts that my Meowmie feeds them
every morning. Then Meowmie and I watch the birds and Meowmie drinks her morning
coffee before leaving for work. When she leaves I fall asleep on the wicker loveseat.
