No one knows
what happend to my furr meowmie. When I was a kitten this man
found me caught in a trap. I tried and tried to get out of the
trap that I gave myself a hernia. Well this man was a nice man.
I sure was glad about that. He took me to a vet and told them
to get me out of the trap and fix my hernia and he would pay for
it and put me up for adoption.
The nice
man bought me a stuffed bunny and a blanket and some treats. They
had to bottle feed me because I was just a kitten. One thing is
they had to be careful on who adopted me because I did not like
hoomans at all!
They named me Baby Chick.
My now meowmie
and daddy happened to be looking for a kitten. They came to the
vet and they fell in love with me. Now it was very hard for the
vet people to give me up because I had lived there for 3 months
now. But they knew these were the parents for me so I went home
with them.
The first
thing they did was change my name. I'm glad about that! Can you
imagine a guy living his whole life with the name of baby cick!
My daddy named me Levi because I have blue eyes. As if that makes
any better sense.
The first week I tried to hide. But my new Meowmie kept on getting
me out of my hiding places and holding me and stuff. So I gave
in and let them have their way. It did feel nice to have a home
instead of living in a smelly vet place.
At the tender
age of 4 my hoomans brought me home a brofur. He was nice. He
was grey and we called him Dusty. I took him under my paw and
taught him all the tricks. We played and played all the time.
I was only 4 then so I was young.
Then we
moved to Florida from Chicago where it is nice and warm all the
time so we could be by my grammy and grammpy. I like them a lot
because they give me lots of attention and treats.
July 7,
2000 something very sad happened. My Dusty went to Rainbow bridge.
We don't know why except the vet had said he had a respiratory
infection but he would be okay. But he never was. I was soooo
sad I didn't think I ever would get over it.
Well my hoomans thought I was lonley and that I needed another
kitty in the house. They brought in my sisfur. They thought I
would welcome her the same way I welcomed Dusty. Wrong!!! I made
her work for my trust. Her name is Maggie and I kind of like her
now. We have fun and I chase her too. I am almost 11 but I can
still play as much as she can and she is just 1.
I have a
wink wink named Scraps and we will be wed winked in Feb. of 2001.
She is beautiful and always there when I need her. She helped
me through the lost of my Dusty. I don't know what I would have
done if it wasn't for her.
Now everything
is fine and we are a happy family. I luff my family and they take
wonderful care of me.
