A small selection of Australian sauce and pickle bottles featuring the Cockatoo and Rosella. All date mid 1920s to 1930.

The Cockatoo pickle bottle belonged to Dyson & Co, of Collingwood, Melbourne, and is quite hard-to-get.

The Rosella bottles belonged to the Rosella Preserving Company, who had large factories in almost all states of Australia.

The clear glass Rosella sauce bottles made at the Melbourne Glass Bottle Works in the 1920s will turn Amethyst after prolonged exposure to sunlight.
