Lamont patent bottles dating from 1898 to c1910

The Lamont was patented by it's inventor John Lamont in England in 1874, and registered for use in South Australia in 1876.

The bottle had an ebonite or lignum vitae stopper with rubber seal.

10oz lamont manufactured by the Adelaide Glass Works of Croydon, South Australia, for the SA Brewing Coy Ltd, Port Augusta. c1908.

10oz lamont manufactured by the Kilner Brothers Glass Works, England, for William Henry Moyle, Florence St, Port Pirie. The bottle features a representation of nearby Mt. Remarkable in the Flinders Ranges. c1910.
