This type of bottle was often refered to as a (round-ender) for obvious reasons.
This bottle dating around the early 1870s, once belonged to business partners William Symons Billin and Albert James Wight who operated a very successful ginger beer and aerated water factory from premises in Flinders St, Adelaide.
Billin & Wight were in business together from c1869 to 1881.
