Tuckwell's collection
                           32 oz Codd Patent Bottles

There are just three businesses in South Australia that we know of, that used the (large 32oz codd bottle.) William Woodroofe of Theresa St, Norwood; William Samuel Bailey of Gilbert St, Adelaide; and lastly W.L. Haydon & Co, of Gawler & Kapunda.

The Bailey and Haydon codds are extremely rare with just a few specimens known.

The Woodroofe codd exists in greater number, but still remains hard-to-get due to it's popularity with collectors Australia wide.

The bottles featured were made by the Melbourne glass works around 1912.

Unfortunately the Bailey codd featured, is broken at the pinch in the neck.
