An interesting selection of English origin potlids recovered from South Australian tips dating from 1890 until 1910s. The lids found most frequently were the Maw Son & Thompson, London, cherry toothpaste; Maw Son & Sons, London, white rose tooth paste; Cosnell's Queens Head, cherry tooth paste; Jewbury & Brown, Manchester, oriental tooth paste; and Calvert's carbolic tooth paste. |
