William Stocker, Moonta. 1893-1933
William Stocker pursued his career in aerated water manufacture from 1893, he had purchased A.J. Admore's factory in George St, Moonta. Stocker made good use of the local newspaper, he advertised his aerated water products weekly during the summer months, always featuring the number of prizes achieved by his products in competition.
Stocker used: codd's patent; lamont patent; and maugham's patent bottles.
Jacka Bros. Melrose Brewery. 1876-1934
The brothers William and Joseph Jacka established the Melrose Brewery in 1876, with the first beer being brewed on January 3, 1877.
Almost from the first year of operation, the manufacture of aerated water always received it's share of attention at the Brewery.
The Jacka Brothers used: codd's patent; lamont patent; and maugham's patent bottles.
Henry James Wilson, Victor Harbor. 1898-1899
H.J. Wilson operated an aerated water business in Victor Harbor 1898-1899; Strathalbyn 1901-1903; Kadina 1906-1910; Gladstone 1910-1914.
Wilson died in 1914 whilst operating the Gladstone Aerated Waters Co.
Wilson used: codd's patent; maugham's patent; and underglazed (stone) transfer printed ginger beer bottles. |
