It's not pretty! but boy it's old and rare!
This pointy ended soda also known as a Hamilton patent, dates around the mid 1840s - 1850. William Paxton after arriving in South Australia established a business in Hindley Street, Adelaide, trading as a chemist and druggist. Whilst in this establishment he also manufactured aerated waters.
Paxton invested money in the rich copper mines at Burra, SA, and became A very wealthy man. |
