| OKM JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM The Sand Sharks' feeding ground is in Burke, Virginia. This Junior's program was started in 1980 and has grown from a handfull of kids to about 160 this year. The Sharks practice everyday except Wednesdays when they compete in the Northern VA Tennis League. The Boys Team has won the CHAMPIONSHIP NINE OUT OF THE LAST 10 YEARS.. The Girls Team has won the CHAMPIONSHIP FIVE times within the same period. Our 10& Under has won it FOUR times within that period too. The Sand Sharks are aged between 7-18 and enjoy skimming along our sandy courts. Our program is based on FUN, Good tennis basics and good sportsmanship. It is designed for those who have not held a racquet to preparing for college competition. Come join the fun!! |
